The Projector architecture delivers unparalleled ease-of-use with blazing speed.
Projector is a hosted solution with two interfaces tailored to the needs of different users:
- A web-based Employee Portal for time entry, expense entry, and access to individual schedules
- An installed Management Console for advanced functions such as scheduling, resource management, and reporting
Projector’s management console uses
Smart Client
technology to give your organization the simplicity of
web-based access to data combined with the speed and richness of desktop software. Once installed, the Smart Client automatically updates itself so you're constantly up to date with the latest features.
Configuration options
Projector can be deployed in two different
configuration options, depending on your business needs and IT
infrastructure. If you choose our on-demand hosted
configuration, Projector's servers (and your data) are
located in a secure data center, providing
high availability, automatic offsite backups, and redundancy.
We provide the servers, the software, and the
maintenance...allowing you to concentrate on running your
business.
In our self-hosted configuration,
we will install, maintain, monitor, and update the Projector
software running on your servers, behind your firewall, giving
you full control over your data at all times.
System requirements
Most organizations already have the software needed to deploy Projector:
- Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition (or any later
version of Windows) to run the Management Portal
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, Mozilla Firefox 1.5, or Safari 1.3 (or any later versions) to access the Employee Portal on Windows or Macintosh operating systems
- Microsoft Excel 2000 or later to view reports
- Microsoft Project 2003 or later to import and export
project plans
- QuickBooks Desktop Edition 2004+ (US, Canadian, or UK), or QuickBooks Online Edition to utilize the pre-built QuickBooks accounting system integration adapter
- Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains version 7.5 or later
to utilize the Great Plains accounting interface
- salesforce.com Professional and Enterprise Editions to import accounts, opportunities,
and products from salesforce.com
