Unlike standalone applications, Projector’s Project Management module seamlessly integrates with our Project Accounting, Resource Scheduling, and Advanced Analytics functionality. This means that the data you use to track your projects is the same information that the other modules use to recognize your revenue or bill your clients.
By translating task-level planning into high-level resourcing requirements in one click, the Project Management module keeps your project teams, resource managers, and executives on the same page.
Project workspaces help teams deliver projects smoothly and successfully. Whether they need to find documents, track issues, or share information across the room or across the world, Projector puts the information they need right at their fingertips.

From Details to the Big Picture
Projector’s Project Management module provides an advanced, closed-loop system for managing complex projects, yet also handles simpler projects with elegance and ease. By combining all the time, task, and budget details into user-friendly reports, Projector gives you the big-picture answers you need to run efficient, profitable projects.
Because Projector is a modular system, you can start out with just task planning and tracking, and work your way up to advanced budgeting and virtual workspaces as you need them.
Advanced Task Planning and Tracking
Use Projector to create bottom-up hierarchical project plans that describe individual tasks, the resources assigned to them, timelines, and deadlines. Once you create tasks in Projector, you can model them using complex dependencies with leads and lags, assign them, and display them online with due dates to the people to which they are assigned. Of, if you prefer working in Microsoft Project, Projector can also easily import and export Microsoft Project plans.
Free your project managers from unnecessary busywork by automating timesheet and task status collection. Projector uses this information to help you quickly assess the state of entire projects based on measures such as performance to budget and schedule, or using earned value metrics.
As you use Projector, you’ll collect more and more project data, which quickly becomes a rich reserve of historical information that you can tap into to plan future projects more accurately.
Flexible, Detailed Budgeting
Project managers can choose how to track performance of projects to budget: from a simple summary of hours to a more complex revenue budget, time-phased by week, and broken down by activity. They can track performance based on burn rates or cumulative spend, budget consumed to date, or projected performance at completion.
Projector helps you to clearly see the difference between being under budget versus behind schedule, by showing you not only what you’ve spent so far, but what you’ve accomplished with that spend.
Projector also lets you define “thresholds” on your budgets that will trigger automatic email alerts to warn you when projects are at risk of going over budget. These answers give you the opportunity to get back on track before it’s too late.
The Project Management module gives your delivery teams and your clients secure access to web-based project collaboration areas. These project workspaces offer keyword search, version control, issues tracking, and many more features to help teams share documents and other important information.
Projector’s client portal helps you get paid for your work faster by giving your clients instant access to issued invoices, due dates, and payment statuses.
